Reviewers mention regular visits, kids’ parties, bowling lanes, arcade machines and pool tables, so this is more than just a quick roll-and-go venue. The big win here is the atmosphere: people repeatedly praise the friendly staff, sensible prices and the fact it feels more welcoming than the louder rival at Westwood Cross. Food and drink are described as good and not extortionate, which is always a pleasant surprise in a leisure venue. On the downside, this is still a bowling alley, not a day out with acres of space or much in the way of bells and whistles. The coffee is merely decent, seating is not really discussed, and while it works well for parties and a couple of hours of entertainment, very young children may not get as much out of it as older ones.
